For Iowa State vs. Ohio in Week 3, I predict Ohio will win with the moneyline being at +130.
I doubted Ohio after losing star quarterback Kurtis Rourke in the team’s season opener. But after being defeated by San Diego State in Week 0, the Bobcats bounced back. They beat Long Island in Week 1 and, with Rourke behind center, won at FAU.
Now I think this team is prepared for an upset. Ohio has enough firepower to win against Iowa State, which has struggled this year.

Central Michigan vs. Notre Dame Prediction: Over/Under Total Points
For Central Michigan vs. Notre Dame in Week 3, I predict the teams will go Under 51.5 points.
Central Michigan lost 31-7 at Michigan State to start the year and barely beat New Hampshire of the FCS, 45-42. I don’t think CMU will be very competitive in this matchup.
Notre Dame has decisively defeated its last three opponents, including a 42-3 win over Navy to start the year. The Fighting Irish have shown no signs of slowing down, so I think they gain a substantial lead early and have their backups in by the third quarter, which will lead to a lower final score.
Prediction: Under 51.5
Northern Illinois vs. Nebraska Prediction: Over/Under Total Points
For Northern Illinois vs. Nebraska in Week 3, I predict the teams will go Over 42.5 points.
Sure, Northern Illinois just lost to FCS opponent Southern Illinois 14-11 last week. But NIU has already proven it can compete with a Power Five program by beating Boston College in overtime in Week 1.
I think quarterback Rocky Lombardi and the Huskies will, at the very least, keep this game close going into the second half. That means Nebraska’s starters will be in the game for a while, giving both teams enough chances to score more than 43 points combined.
Prediction: Over 42.5
