The battle for the MAC Championship has been captivating thus far.
Bowling Green was 1-3 just a few months ago. But a lot has changed.
The Falcons have gone 6-1 in MAC play since then, with their only loss being a 17-7 game against Northern Illinois.
Miami (Ohio) had similar struggles early on. The RedHawks lost four of their first five contests. But they’re gone on a six-game winning streak since then.
And now both teams will face each other with conference championship hopes at stake.

Miami (Ohio) vs. Bowling Green Prediction
I predict Bowling Green will win and cover the spread at -2.5. I also project the game will go Over 39.5 total points.
I could absolutely see this game going either way. But considering Bowling Green is at home, I’m picking the Falcons to win.
I also anticipate both teams to score more points than some people would expect. The Falcons have put up at least 31 points in three of their last four contests. Meanwhile, the RedHawks have averaged 32.5 points per game during their last six contests against MAC opponents.
And with that in mind, I think Bowling Green has just a little bit more firepower on offense. Harold Fannin Jr. is one of the best pass catchers in the FBS, and running back Terion Stewart helps give the offense balance.
I anticipate, during a high-scoring second half, Bowling Green will find a way to make critical plays late en route to a victory.
