I’m picking Rice to win and cover the spread at +3. I’m also predicting the game will go Over 58.5 total points.
The Owls’ last game didn’t go their way as they fell to UConn 38-31. But I think Rice will bounce back in this game with about two weeks of rest.
I believe Rice quarterback J.T. Daniels will have a strong performance in this one. The Owls have the fourth-best offense in the AAC in terms of scoring, averaging 32.7 points per game, while Tulsa has allowed 29.3 points per game, which is in the bottom half of the conference.
I believe both teams will score a fair amount here, but I believe Rice will ultimately win.
