SMU vs. Temple Prediction

I’m picking SMU to win but for Temple to cover the spread at +20.5. I also am predicting the game will go Under 55.5 total points.

SMU is strong on both sides of the ball, having given up just 102 points through six games. That’s the lowest in the AAC.

Temple, meanwhile, is on a four-game losing streak. But I think the Owls are talented enough to limit SMU’s winning margin to less than three touchdowns. I’m anticipating Temple quarterback E.J. Warner will help his team put together a few good drives and that the Owls’ defense will prevent SMU from scoring as much as the Mustangs are used to.
