Despite his experience as a head coach and success as an offensive coordinator with several college programs, including Ohio State, Kevin Wilson didn’t live up to expectations as the head coach of Tulsa.
He went 7-16 over the last couple years, was 3-12 in AAC play, and was subsequently fired. But the Golden Hurricane hope Tre Lamb, who was hired as Tulsa’s head coach after successful stints at the FCS level, can lead the team to more wins and bowl appearances.
