The following are the postseason scenarios for the remainder of the 2024 season.

South Carolina State clinches their 19th MEAC Championship with:
SCSU win at Morgan State
OR if SCSU loses to Morgan State
SCSU win vs. Norfolk State AND

Morgan State (5-5, 2-1)
The Bears can win their first MEAC title in a decade with:
MSU wins vs. South Carolina State and vs. Howard AND
North Carolina Central loses to Howard OR Delaware State
North Carolina Central (6-3, 2-1)
The Eagles can earn their third trip to the Celebration Bowl with:
NCCU wins vs. Howard and at Delaware State AND
South Carolina State loses at Morgan State and vs. Norfolk State

Jackson State (8-2, 6-0)
First-place Jackson State clinches their third SWAC East division title in four years with:
JSU win at Alabama State or at Alcorn State
OR if JSU loses at Alabama State and at Alcorn State
Alabama State loss to Prairie View A&M
If Jackson State maintains a better conference record than Southern, the Tigers will host the SWAC Championship Game
Southern (6-4, 5-1)
Southern will make their fourth trip to the SWAC conference title game in seven years as the West division champions with:
SU win vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff or vs. Grambling State
OR if SU loses to Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Grambling State
Alcorn State loss at Prairie View A&M or to Jackson State

Alabama State (5-4, 4-2)
The Hornets can win their first East division title in 14 years with:
ASU wins vs. Jackson State and vs. Prairie View A&M AND
Jackson State loss at Alcorn State
Alcorn State (5-5, 4-2)
The Braves can win their first West division title with:
ALC wins at Prairie View A&M and vs. Jackson State AND
Southern loses vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff and vs. Grambling State

Tennessee State (7-3, 4-2)
UT Martin’s 40-14 win over Charleston Southern has dashed The Tigers’ Big South-OVC title hopes. But will their resume be strong enough to convince the committee to give them an FCS Playoffs at-large bid with nine wins if one of those victories was over a conference champion?
