Ninety-nine FCS players transferred to the FBS for the 2020 season. That is much higher than the roughly 50 FCS players that transferred up a subdivision in 2019.
Of course, the 2020 FCS season being postponed to the spring resulted in many of these transfers. The number more than doubled once it was clear the FCS fall season was in jeopardy.
The 2019 transfers didn’t play huge roles for their new teams, but that’s not the case in 2020. Here’s an Oct. 8 update on how this year’s transfers are doing.
