NDSU Football Team Visiting The White House Today
The 2024 North Dakota State national championship football team is visiting Washington, D.C. today (April 9), visiting the White House as other sports championship teams sometimes do.
The Bison will see the White House and U.S. Capitol, meeting with President Donald Trump to honor their FCS championship win.
NDSU also visited the White House in March 2019 to recognize the 2018 national championship squad.
“Our Bison football team’s national championship victory is a source of great pride for the entire NDSU community and the state of North Dakota,” NDSU President David Cook said in a press release. “Their invitation to the White House highlights the exceptional talent and determination of our student-athletes. We thank Senators Hoeven and Cramer for joining us in celebrating this remarkable milestone.”
