The 2019 FCS season is underway. As part of our coverage of this subdivision, we're always paying attention to NFL prospects for the upcoming draft and even the following draft.
The website Draft Scout does an awesome job keeping tabs on future drafts, which gives us an idea of which FCS players are on NFL radars. As of late August, here are the top pro prospects at every position. Keep in mind that these rankings at this point in the year only include seniors.

Quarterback
Tom Flacco, Towson — The dual-threat QB is ranked the No. 15 prospect. Flacco is 6-foot-1, 205 pounds and threw for 3,251 yards, 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions last year while rushing for 742 yards and four scores.

Running Back
James Robinson, Illinois State — Robinson is listed as the No. 11 running back. At 5-foot-10 and 220 pounds, Robinson has 2,545 career rushing yards for the Redbirds and 26 rushing touchdowns.

Fullback
Kam Williams, Incarnate Word — Williams ranks as the No. 6 prospect at fullback. He is listed as a wide receiver for UIW and is 6-foot-2 and 232 pounds. Williams caught 36 passes last year for 588 yards and three touchdowns.

Tight End
Charlie Taumoepeau, Portland State — Taumoepeau is listed as the No. 5 tight end. The 6-foot-3 and 245-pounder has combined for 1,253 receiving yards and eight touchdowns these last two seasons.

Wide Receiver
Aaron Parker, Rhode Island — Parker is the No. 31 ranked receiver. He's a big-time target at 6-foot-3 and 208 pounds. In 2017 and 2018, Parker combined for 112 catches for 1,795 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Zach Larsen, Southern Utah — Larsen is ranked the No. 25 center. He's 6-foot-1, 305 pounds and a two-time postseason All-American.

Offensive Tackle
Alex Taylor, South Carolina State — Taylor is the No. 19 ranked OT. He's an absolute monster at 6-foot-9 and 310 pounds and is a former standout high school basketball player.

Offensive Guard
Kyle Murphy, Rhode Island — Murphy ranks as the No. 24 OG. At 6-foot-4 and 302 pounds, Murphy has started games since his freshman season.

Kicker
Aidan O'Neill, Towson — O'Neill is ranked the No. 12 kicker. In 2018, he hit 22-of-29 field goals with a season-long of 50 yards and nailed 42-of-43 extra points.

Defensive End
Nasir Player, East Tennessee State — Player ranks as the No. 20 DE. He's 6-foot-5, 241 pounds and had 11 tackles for loss, 11 QB hurries and six sacks last season.

Defensive Tackle
LaCale London, Western Illinois — London is the No. 24 ranked DT. The 6-foot-5, 280-pounder had 3.5 sacks and 7.5 TFLs in 2018. Former WIU defensive tackle Khalen Saunders was drafted in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Inside Linebacker
Dante Olson, Montana — Olson is ranked the No. 13 ILB. He is sturdy up the middle at 6-foot-3 and 240 pounds. Olson was everywhere on the field last year, totaling 151 tackles, 11 TFLs and six sacks.

Outside Linebacker
Aaron Patrick, Eastern Kentucky — Patrick ranks as the No. 26 OLB. The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder has 127 career tackles, 26 TFLs and 17.5 sacks.

Cornerback
Gavin Heslop, Stony Brook — Heslop is the No. 30 ranked CB. He has good size at 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds. Heslop has 144 career tackles, 12.5 TFLs and 22 passes defended.

Free Safety
Marlon Bridges, Jacksonville State — Bridges is ranked the No. 18 free safety. He's started every game since his redshirt freshman season. Bridges is 6-foot and 200 pounds with 237 career tackles.

Strong Safety
Jeremy Chinn, Southern Illinois — Chinn is the No. 9 strong safety. He has great range at 6-foot-3 and 212 pounds. Chinn has 172 career tackles, nine interceptions and 24 passes defended.

Punter
Alex Pechin, Bucknell — Pechin is ranked the No. 5 punter. In 2018, Pechin had a 44.5-yard punting average, booted 29 punts of at least 50 yards and landed 28 punts inside the 20-yard line.
