Welcome to the 2020 FCS Jersey Countdown.
Throughout the May-August months, HERO Sports is going to name the best returning FCS player by jersey number, 99-1. Due to rosters being updated at different times for teams across the country and to keep things consistent, jersey numbers are based on the 2019 season.
The full 99-1 countdown/schedule can be found here.
*Note: Jersey numbers are based on 2019 rosters.
66: Nash Jensen, OL (Jr.) — North Dakota State
Jensen stepped into the starting lineup last season as a third-year sophomore and provided a big presence at left guard. He started all 16 games and earned HERO Sports Sophomore All-American honors.
Jensen is a monster on the interior of NDSU’s o-line, standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 331 pounds. He helped the Bison rush for a school-record 4,601 yards while also protecting Walter Payton Award QB Trey Lance.
NDSU’s dominant offensive line stays mostly intact, returning four starters from last season. Jensen is one of three “Rams” named a HERO Sports preseason All-American, earning a spot on the Second Team while tackles Dillon Radunz and Cordell Volson were named on the First Team.
