"A Patriot League team getting a Top 8 playoff seed!? You're kidding, right?" – probably fans from the Big Sky, CAA and MVFC.
But it's not completely out of the question for Colgate. The Raiders have a legit shot to go undefeated against FCS opponents with its only loss coming in the final week of the regular season versus Army.
Colgate is already 4-0 with wins against the CAA's New Hampshire and William & Mary. Its game against Furman was canceled, which would have been an interesting nonconference matchup. A favorable remaining schedule means the Raiders could finish 9-0 against FCS teams.
