It's been the main topic for FCS fans this week on social media. No. 3 South Dakota State lost 21-17 to No. 1 North Dakota State last Saturday. However, in this week's STATS Media Poll, the Jacks remained at No. 3 despite teams like Eastern Washington and Kennesaw State earning impressive wins.
Both sides of the argument are fair on whether SDSU deserved to drop. Traditionally in Top 25 polls, teams that lose go down while teams that keep winning are rewarded. There's also the argument that despite getting an "L" the Jacks still looked like the No. 3 team in the country with a near-win at NDSU.
