1: Marlon Bridges, S (Jr.) — Jacksonville State
Bridges made sure people knew his name the second he stepped foot on a Division I football field. After redshirting in 2015, Bridges has started in all 24 games the last two years.
His accolades are almost too many to list and include HERO Sports Freshman and Sophomore All-American selections, the 2016 Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Year, a two-time All-OVC First Team safety and several All-American honors.
Not only that, he's already ranked the 11th best safety prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Bridges is a stud for a stout JSU defense. Last year, he picked off three passes and returned one 73 yards for a touchdown. His 83 total tackles ranked second on the team a season after leading the Gamecocks with 87 tackles as a freshman.
With his career just hitting the halfway point, watch for Bridges to do some special things as JSU looks to get back into the national title picture this season.
