33: Zane Dudek, sophomore running back — Yale
Dudek couldn't have asked for a better true freshman season – Phil Steele FCS Offensive Freshman of the Year, Finalist for Jerry Rice Award for FCS Freshman of the Year, Ivy League Rookie of the Year, First Team All-Ivy League and a HERO Sports Freshman All-American.
He racked up the postseason accolades as his list of statistics he led the Ivy League in was just as long – 1,133 yards rushing, 113.3 yards per game, 15 rushing touchdowns, 7.1 yards per carry, 16 overall touchdowns, 96 points and 134.5 all-purpose yards a game.
Phew.
The dude's a man. And he's only going to get better as he was named on our preseason All-American Second Team.
"I look at each play as a chance to score a touchdown," Dudek told the Hartford Courant last November. "But when it's not there, that's when I have to realize, just get four or five yards instead of looking to bounce it outside on every play."
