We're just a little past halfway in the NFL season, and some of this year's FCS rookie class is really settling in. In all, 23 FCS/NFL rookies are active — including nine free agents (15 FCS products were drafted this spring).

So here are some quick takeaways from the FCS/NFL rookie class of 2017.
- Four FCS/NFL rookies have scored touchdowns: Jamal Agnew, Tarik Cohen, Dylan Cole and Cooper Kupp.
- Six have started at least one game: Chase Allen, Tarik Cohen, Dylan Cole, Julie'n Davenport, Cooper Kupp, Avery Moss.
- Along with the 23 FCS/NFL rookies on active rosters, there are another 22 players either on the practice squad or the reserve list — so 45 total FCS/NFL rookies.
- This is the time of year where those young inactive players begin to get moved up to the active roster when injuries happen and when teams want to see what the rookies can do. So keep an eye on that.[divider]
