Non-scholarship San Diego shocked the FCS world once again with a 41-10 victory over Northern Arizona, and the offensive attack was jump-started with this touchdown, a seven-yard TD connection from Anthony Lawrence to put the Toreros up 10-0 late in the 1st quarter.

Nicholls was held scoreless against South Dakota until Austin Dickerson came up with a big play for the defense with just over a minute until the break. He returned an interception 43 yards for a touchdown. Nicholls fought to the final seconds before falling to South Dakota 38-31.

The Nicholls-South Dakota game was full of highlight-reel plays, like this 75-yard connection between Coyotes QB and Walter Payton Award hopeful Chris Streveler and Trystn Ducker just before the end of the third quarter to put USD up 31-21.

Yes, it's not just wide receivers and tight ends who can go up with one hand — check out Northern Iowa linebacker Jared Farley line up as a fullback and head out to the flat to grab a TD pass from Eli Dunne in the Panthers' rout of Monmouth.

Elon fell in a close one to Furman on Saturday, 28-27. That's as close as it gets, as is this catch by Tre Lennon on the sideline. He finished with 4 catches for 43 yards.

Kennesaw earned a big 28-17 victory over Samford, and got on the board with this impressive TD grab by Justin Sumpter as he brought it down with plenty of room to spare before the sideline.
