Hawai’i Offers Scholarship to 11-Year-Old Titan Lacaden, Who Just Finished 5th Grade

Lane Kiffin is no longer competing against himself.

Last month, the first-year Florida Atlantic head coach offered a scholarship to Kaden Martin, the son of USC offensive coordinator Tee Martin who just completed seventh grade. Last week, he went even younger by making an offer to quarterback Piece Clarkson, who recently finished sixth grade

Hawai'i head coach Nick Rolovich will see Kiffin's craziness and raise him one. Rolovich, entering his second season as head coach at his alma mater, is officially recruiting an 11-year-old. Titan Lacaden, who is closer to kindergarten than college, tweeted about the offer on Sunday.

Blessed with a D1 offer. Thank you Coach Rolo!! @NickRolovich #Future #defendpriderock #UHWarriors pic.twitter.com/FIbHrsxbBY

For those scoring at home, Lacaden is a recruit in the class of … wait for it … 2024! As noted by College Football Talk, Lacaden is believed to be the youngest player ever to receive a scholarship offer. His brother, former Nevada quarterback Jake Lacaden, confirmed the offer.

Here are Lacaden's highlights:
