The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling national championship. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
This video from JustBombsProductions features Ohio State CB Denzel Ward. Ward is considered by some to be the best pure cover corner in this class. He has the speed, athleticism, balance, and ball skills to be a potential No. 1 corner for whichever NFL team drafts him. At 5-foot-10 he is probably an inch or two shorter than ideal, but his specialty is blanketing receivers to the point that quarterbacks have to throw the ball in another direction because of the lack of separation. Ward is a first-round pick and could easily go in the top 20 of this draft.
