While it's sad that we're already nearing the latter part of the regular season, we're still getting peppered with a spectacular dose of highlights, tweets and other randomness.
Here are the best college football highlights, tweets and more from a terrific Week 9.

Are You Not Entertained?
Penn State's trip to Columbus was a wild one that featured an opening-kickoff touchdown, countless big-time plays and one legendary fourth-quarter comeback.
Here are the full highlights:

Weeeeeeeee!
San Diego State running back Rashaad Penny is the best player in the country that no one is talking about. He ran for 253 yards in the Aztecs' late-night win at Hawai'i, during which he did this:

Targeting is a Joke
With replay, it should not be hard to correctly apply the targeting rule.
This was NOT called targeting. Vanderbilt DB's shoulder goes directly into Jake Bentley's head on the slide. Clear launch. pic.twitter.com/58OGwuIRyM

Khalil Tate is Unreal
Like Rashaad Penny, Arizona quarterback Khalil Tate deserves way more attention than he's getting. He's almost single-handedly led the Wildcats' resurgence, which included a win over Washington State, who has suddenly forgot how to play defense.

Sad Mike Riley
Nebraska head coach Mike Riley always looks sad and disinterested and is almost never talking to players or coaches during games. While different coaches choose different gameday responsibilities, it's still bizarre.
For the hundreds of times they've shown Riley during games, I've never once seen him coaching or teaching players.

Baker Trolls Red Raiders
Prior to Oklahoma's win over Texas Tech, Baker Mayfield arrived at the game wearing a shirt that trolled trolls who call Mayfield a traitor for leaving Lubbock.

Sooner Schooner Issues
Following a third-quarter touchdown, Boomer Schooner needed to make a call to AAA for roadside assistance.

Michigan Gets Younger
And of course, there's always an appropriate GIF from The Office to reflect that change. This is just a superb tweet.

Best Ugly Game Ever
Those who forced themselves to watch Arkansas–Ole Miss were rewarded with one of the most bizarrely perfect games you'll ever see. It included an epic comeback and heap of hilariously bad plays.

This Was Weird
Arizona State's end-of-half Hail Mary was originally ruled a non-touchdown but they changed it after the teams left the field.

Durham "Michael Jackson" Smythe
During Notre Dame's blowout of North Carolina State, tight end Durham Smythe gave us one of the best toe-tapping catches you'll see all year.

Never Change West Virginia
The Mountaineers may have lost to Oklahoma State but at least they still have some the best fans in sports.

Flop!
It was only appropriate that the Kentucky–Tennessee game, which may have FINALLY sealed the fate for Butch Jones, included an embarrassing flop.

Is Kiffin in Play?
Lane Kiffin and Florida Atlantic kept rolling on Saturday with a 42-28 win over Western Kentucky. Might the Gators be willing to give him another Power Five chance?

Miami Escapes North Carolina
But the best part of the game was David Hale tweeting something that I have no idea what it means but love it.
