Week 5 of the college football season wasn't as loaded with as many delectable, big-time matchups as the past few, but it still produced a pile of hilarious and entertaining videos, tweets and more.
From Scott Van Pelt celebrating Maryland's win and a Virginia Tech fan trying so desperately to fit in to Butch Jones and an epic Troy tweet, Week 5 had something for everyone.
Here are the best college football videos, tweets and more from the weekend.

Troy = Savages
Not only did Troy go into Baton Rouge and beat LSU, they ripped the Tigers' souls from their bodies and stomped on them with this tweet.
Hey @LSU, thanks for having us down for homecoming! We really enjoyed it!

Lame Duck Coach
Though nothing is guaranteed in college football, Tennessee's 41-0 home loss to Georgia appears to have sealed the fate of Butch Jones. And as pointed out by NFL.com analyst Chase Goodbread, the problem of his tenure is very clear.
It's not just that Butch hasn't gotten Tennessee to Atlanta, it's that he's failed to do so in a 5-yr window in which it's never been easier

Punters Don't Sign Up for This
Baylor's backup punter Connor Martin was not expecting to play in Saturday's game vs. K-State and definitely wasn't expecting to get his head blown off.

NC State Fans Feeling Good
Sure, the Wolfpack is 4-1 and 2-0 in the ACC but that doesn't mean you need to break your neck during the pregame tailgate.

During Alabama's blowout win over Ole Miss, Tide strength coach Scott Cochran ripped a phone from the hands of who appears to be an inactive player.

Tough Season for Jimbo
Florida State avoided an 0-3 start but not before Jimbo Fisher took his anger out on an overmatched whiteboard.

Throw. It. Away.
Northwestern still had minuscule odds of tying the game in the final minute vs. Wisconsin but Clayton Thorson taking this safety is still mind-boggling.
