First-year Indiana head coach Tom Allen awarded the most angry scholarship in college football history.
He didn't take a page out of P.J. Fleck's book and use a t-shirt cannon or an Easter egg hunt, nor did he deliver the news to a player's mom or dad like Scottie Montgomery. Instead, he opted to bring his player way, way down before lifting him up.

Redshirt junior tight end Ryan Watercutter, who paid his own tuition for three full years, was chewed out by Allen during a team meeting. Then Allen told him — well, actually screamed at him — that he was being given a full-ride scholarship.
