The Florida Gators had one of the best defenses in college football last fall, and their 2017 NFL Draft prospects reflect that success.

Florida ranked sixth in yards allowed per game (299), third in passing yards allowed per game (156.3) and 10th in points per game (17.9).
Several of the players responsible for this dominance are set to head off to the NFL via the draft.
The Gators have the potential to have at least four players selected within the first two rounds. Jarrad Davis is CBS Sports' No. 2 inside linebacker, and Caleb Brantley is their No. 3 defensive tackle. Other defensive prospects include Teez Tabor and Quincy Wilson (No. 10 and 11 cornerbacks), Alex Anzalone (No 9 outside linebacker), and Marcus Maye (No. 5 free safety).

That means the 2016 Florida defense could have nine players who saw time on the field last fall earn a spot on NFL rosters this summer.
