After leading UCLA to 8 wins or more in his first 4 seasons, including 10-win campaigns in 2013 and 2014, Jim Mora and his Bruins have been mired in mediocrity.

Forget playing in the Pac-12 Championship game this year. UCLA needs to win one of its last two games against #11 USC or California simply to attain bowl eligibility.
Even if a bowl game is in the Bruins' future this season, moving forward with head coach Jim Mora may not. Should his time in Southern California be over at the end of this season, here are five potential replacements.

COFFARO: 5 Under the Radar Coaching Hot Seats

Chip Kelly
It's not like Kelly doesn't know the lay of the land. The man who recruited like there was no tomorrow during a dominating coaching stint at Oregon could be interested in returning to the West Coast and the deep resources UCLA could provide.
Plus, Kelly only lost seven games during his entire career with the Ducks.
UCLA could lose that many in 2017.

Lane Kiffin
You knew this one was coming, right?
The buzz around the current Florida Atlantic coach is swirling like a Midwestern tornado. From Arkansas to Texas A&M to jokingly referring to joining Jon Gruden as a graduate assistant with Tennessee, the man that has brought the Owls back from the dead will be a hot commodity this offseason.
Plus, you know he'd love to stick it to USC once person season to get his revenge on a program that literally left him stranded and jobless on an airport tarmac in 2011.

Scott Frost
When you take over a Central Florida team that went 0-12, lead them to a bowl game in your inaugural year, and then have them 10-0 and 2 wins away from a New Year's 6 bowl game, your name will and should be mentioned for every major opening.
While the rumor mill has the former Nebraska legend landing in Lincoln, Frost was on the Oregon coaching staff from 2009 to 2015, which means he's more than familiar with Pac-12 recruiting.

Mike Norvell
Norvell is Frost's American Athletic Conference twin in terms of coaching rumors.
He's 17-6 overall at Memphis after today's rout of SMU, and the Tigers can still make a New Year's 6 bowl game by knocking off East Carolina next week and then either UCF or South Florida in the conference championship game the following weekend.
UCLA saw firsthand just how talented Norvell is when his Tigers knocked off the Bruins 48-45 back in September.

Jedd Fisch
Should UCLA look to promote from within, it may take a gander at former quarterbacks/wide receivers coach at Michigan and current offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Jedd Fisch.
Fisch possesses almost two decades of experience and has worked with successful coaches that include Steve Spurrier, Brian Billick, Pete Carroll, and Jim Harbaugh.
The Bruins entered week 12 as the #26-rated offense at 464-yards-per game. He's also guided junior quarterback Josh Rosen to nearly 3,100 yards passing, 21 touchdowns, and a potential first-round selection in the 2018 NFL Draft.
