The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference has announced its plan for a spring football season.
Like the SWAC, MEAC football games will begin Feb. 27 with a conference championship game held on May 1. This would be the first MEAC title game in the conference’s 50-year history.
The conference will be split into divisions and each team will play six regional games.
The divisional breakdown for football teams are:
Northern Division — Delaware State, Howard, Morgan State, Norfolk State
Southern Division — Bethune-Cookman, Florida A&M, North Carolina A&T, North Carolina Central, South Carolina State
The schedule of games has yet to be released.
