Tebow conducted a tryout in late August and was signed by the New York Mets to a minor league deal on Sept. 8. And it took just 10 days for the team to create Tebow jerseys and sell them online. This demonstrates how serious the Mets are about their new prospect, or at least, their new prospects’ moneymaking prospects.
