Between now and the end of April, we will feature some of the NFL stars of tomorrow. Many of these are names from big time college football programs you will recognize, while some will be new to all but the most dedicated followers of the sport.
Today were are going to take a look at Myles Garrett, the defensive end out of Texas A&M who caused havoc in the SEC and who is the presumptive No. 1 overall pick in many (most) of the mock drafts you will find online.
Myles Garrett has an all-pro ceiling. That is just about the best compliment you can give a player in the pre-draft process. What makes Garrett stand out is his combination of elite traits from and athletic level and his character/desire to be the best football player he can be. It is a blend that cannot be taught, you either have it or you don't, and Garrett most certainly has it.
This highlight video will give you an insight into exactly what the scouts see in Garrett. It starts with his crazy size and speed combination as, simply put, a 6-foot-5, 270-pounder should not be able to run like Garrett can.
You see this elite quickness over and over in this video as Garrett gets to the quarterback seemingly at will. Check it out and see if you feel Garrett is worth the label as a No. 1 overall pick.
