It was a wild, wild Week 3 in college football.
It featured a couple double-overtime thrillers (USC-Texas anybody?), an absurd Hail Mary win in a Top 25 SEC matchup (Florida over Tennessee), and not one but TWO hilarious moments in the Kansas–Ohio game (Ohio cheerleaders weren't ready for the pushups, and Kansas O-linemen weren't ready for football).
It also featured a game-winning Hail Mary interception return touchdown (there was also a hurdle in that play, but it's tough to work all that madness into one sentence).

Even after all that, the craziest parts of college football Week 3 had to be the upsets. All four of the games below were shocking, but which one surprised you the most? Read on and see what your fellow college football fans think in the poll below. [divider]
Northern Illinois at Nebraska: 21-17
The Huskies went into Lincoln as 14-point underdogs. They left winners. Nebraska paid Northern Illinois nearly $1 million to come play, and beat, their football team.
It was an especially rough day for Nebraska quarterback Tanner Lee, who threw two pick-sixes in the first quarter, and iced the game with a third interception in the final minutes. It was NIU's first win over Nebraska in three tries — they lost two games in the heyday of Nebraska football 1989-90. [divider]
Memphis over No. 25 UCLA: 48-45
Memphis QB Riley Ferguson absolutely out-dueled UCLA's star NFL prospect Josh Rosen. Ferguson's connection with WR Anthony Miller was undeniable, as 185 of Ferguson's 398 yards and two of his six touchdowns were to Miller, including a three-play drive in the second quarter which featured this unbelievable diving catch, followed immediately by a 33-yard TD connection.
UCLA had multiple chances to pull it back at the end, like they did in their comeback win over Texas A&M, but they weren't able to pull it off. Final score, 45-48 Memphis.[divider]
SDSU over No. 19 Stanford: 20-17
Pac-12 after dark everybody.
Stanford and San Diego State kicked off shortly after 10:30 p.m. Eastern time, too late for all but the most diehard college football fans. Those diehards were in for a treat.
The Cardinal were 9.5-point favorites at SDSU, but whoever set that line clearly didn't know about Rashaad Penny and Christian Chapman. The SDSU running back racked up 206 total yards and a score, while his quarterback completed 21-of-29 passes for 187 yards and a score.
Chapman's only touchdown pass was extremely timely. His eight-yard TD connection with tight end David Wells happened with less than a minute to play, and gave the Aztecs a 20-17 lead that they wouldn't relinquish.
Stanford fell to 1-2 and will certainly drop out of the top 25, while SDSU moves to 3-0 with back-to-back wins over Pac-12 opponents.[divider]
Mississippi State over No. 12 LSU: 37-7
For the first third of this SEC showdown, LSU and Mississippi State looked pretty evenly matched. Neither team scored in a somewhat slow first quarter. Then MSU opened the scoring with a quick TD drive to start the second quarter, LSU responded, and then the wheels fell off for the Tigers.
Mississippi State scored the final 30 points of the game to take a 37-7 win over the No. 12 team in the country.
The Bulldogs were 1-15 against the Tigers since the year 2000, and had never won by more than 25 points in the 110-game history of the rivalry. This was a surprise to say the least. [divider]
