Ohio State has the top 2018 recruiting class in both the Big Ten and FBS. And the rich could get richer thanks to a weekend recruiting visitor list laced with four- and five-star 2018 prospects.

The Buckeyes' 18-commit class leads the nation in 247Sports Composite average rating (.9507), total points (298.48) and total five-star recruits (four). They can claim a staggering 29 percent of the 14 five-star prospects who have committed. Clemson is the only other team with multiple five-star commits.
Ohio State could add to that haul this weekend if Jamaree Salyer and Jackson Carman are both impressed enough with their visit to Columbus. Sayler, a 6-foot-4, 342-pound guard from Atlanta, is the top-ranked guard in the class and the seventh-ranked player overall. Carman, meanwhile, is a 6-foot-6, 330-pound tackle from nearby Fairfield, Ohio, who's also the top-ranked player at his position and the ninth-ranked player overall.
They are two of eight four- or five-star recruits scheduled to attend the Penn State game on Saturday. Three of those players are already committed, all four-star recruits: Cornerback Sevyn Banks, dual-threat quarterback Emory Jones and running back Brian Snead.
The three other uncommitted recruits in attendance will be Tyreke Johnson (video above), Kamryn Babb and Tyreke Smith.
Johnson is a 6-foot-1, 191-pound safety from Jacksonville, Fla. The fourth-ranked safety and No. 38 overall player is also reportedly strongly considering Clemson, Florida and Georgia, among others.
Babb is a 6-foot-1, 189-pound receiver from Saint Louis who is the ninth-ranked player at his position and No. 56 player in the class. Michigan and Oklahoma are among the other programs he's considering.
And Smith is a weak-side defensive end from Cleveland who's 6-foot-3, 260 pounds and the No. 62 recruit (No. 4 weak-side defensive end) in the class. He released a top five of Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State and USC in August and is scheduled to visit all five this fall.
Unbelievably, all five uncommitted visitors would bump Ohio State's average rating. The lowest player rating among among the group belongs to Tyreke Smith at .9660.
While Ohio State's exclusive goal this weekend is beating Penn State to bolster their playoff résumé, they have a secondary goal of adding to an already-legendary 2018 recruiting class.
