For the first time in a century, Bill Snyder will not be the oldest head coach in the FBS.
The 79-year-old Snyder retired after the 2018 regular season, his 26th at Kansas State, and passed the torch to former Big 12 rival. Former Nebraska coach and current Ohio coach Frank Solich, 74, is now the oldest active head coach. And until Coastal Carolina's Joe Moglia turns 70 on April 1, 2019, Solich will also be the only coach 70 or older.
At 67 years old, Mack Brown is tied with Butch Davis and Nick Saban as the fourth-oldest coaches.
