In Week 11, as predicted, zero teams were eliminated from College Football Playoff contention. It was the first week all season in which all remaining contenders advanced.
Entering Week 12, the second-to-last regular-season week for most teams (and all contending teams), nine teams are alive for the playoff. The Big 12, Big Ten and SEC have two teams apiece, while the ACC and Pac-12 have one — Notre Dame is the lone independent. With a light schedule this weekend, it's possible all nine teams will advance to Week 13.
