Prediction
Bowie State has one of the best offenses in D2, and Amir Hall should have his coming-out party to be in the conversation of best young QB in the nation. Delta State also features a good offense, averaging nearly 30 PPG and 214 yards on the ground.
This is the trickiest matchup to preview, based on the fact both of these teams are so powerful, yet have not found a way to connect them beyond the field. When in doubt like that, it is easy to go with the home team, and that is exactly what we will do.
Bowie may find a struggle to score early as they acclimate to the playoffs, but eventually Hall will get things going and the Bulldogs will advance into the second round.
