To take a look at each matchup in the first weekend of play, we have gathered resources from here at HERO using our comparison tools, as well as notable statistics for individual players to breakdown each game as only we at HERO can.
To begin our previews, we look towards Super Region One, home to such conferences as the PSAC, MEC, NE10, and for the first time this year the G-MAC.
Super Region One is home to a couple of teams who could easily sneak their way into the final four in the country, but there are some heavy hitters looking to take the mantle of “favorite” all the way through towards the end-game.
Who will advance into the regional semifinals? Find out below!

Prediction
Findlay is entering their first ever playoff game, and that will not bode well for the Oilers as they take on a program that has been a staple in the national title picture over the last three seasons.
Shepherd has lost just twice in the last 32 games, with a perfect 30-0 record in the regular season. With some turnover occurring on both sides of the ball, the job of coach Monte Cater has come into focus as being one of the best in the business.
When all is said and done, Findlay turns the ball over just a couple times too many and can’t slow down the Rams’ potent attack. The first quarter should be close and the orange-men may even hold a lead, but the veteran experience trumps all.
Prosba: Shepherd 40 – 17
HERO Sports: Findlay -10 (based on BennettRank power rating)
