Donnel Pumphrey of San Diego State is a player who will try to prove that size doesn't matter when he enters the NFL. At 5-foot-9 and 175 pounds, Pumphrey will not be able to handle 25-30 carries a week as a feature back.
What he does offer however is explosive speed and playmaking ability, something he showcased while breaking a lot of Marshall Faulk's records as an Aztec. He also retired as the all-time leading rusher in FBS history.
