Fred Ross is a wide receiver who shares similar character traits to many in this class. At 6-foot-2 he is a decent target and he has shown some impressive production. This was highlighted as a junior two seasons ago when he caught 88 balls for over 1,000 yards when Dak Prescott was his quarterback.
The knock on the Mississippi State product is that with a 4.51 time in the 40-yard dash he is too slow to succeed as a pro. He does, however, have excellent route running skills and he does have a future in the league with the fit team fit.
