Texas is a top-10 team in the Week 7 College Football Rankings.
The Longhorns jumped from No. 21 to No. 8 thanks to a win over Oklahoma and were one of 11 teams to move up by at least 10 spots, a group led by No. 43 Utah State. The Aggies' road demolition of BYU earned them a 35-spot jump and their first top-50 ranking of the season.
Sixteen teams dropped at least 16 spots, including BYU (19 spots), Kansas State (10) and Stanford (13). Akron and Marshall tied for the biggest plunge of Week 6; each team fell 29 spots.
