Former college football players are conducting an all-out assault on coaches for their recruiting graphics. The latest target is Florida defensive line coach Sal Sunseri.
Sunseri, 58, has been an assistant in college and the NFL for more than 30 years. He's coached five-star prospects, All-Americans, Hall of Famers, NFL Draft picks, you name it. He did not coach Josh Sweat, though according to a graphic he tweeted on Friday, he did coach Josh Sweat.
Sunseri was defensive ends coach at Florida State from 2013-14. He left after two years to coach linebackers for the Oakland Raiders. After his departure, Sweat arrived in Tallahassee, where he racked up 29 tackles for loss and 14.5 sacks from 2015-17. Sweat was a fourth-round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2018 draft.
Sweat's former teammate Derrick Nnadi, who was also featured in the graphic, called out Sunseri.
