One of the many traits that made NFL Hall of Fame punter Ray Guy such an incredible weapon over his 14-year career was his ability to put every ounce of his 6-4, nearly 200-pound frame into his kicks. Now imagine if the legendary Raiders' punter had been 6-7, 235 pounds, because that's exactly what Bowling Green stud Joseph Davidson is working with.

Joseph Davidson – Bowling Green
Guy went to a non-Power 5 school in Southern Miss while Davidson just wrapped up his senior season in the MAC. At the pro level, Guy averaged 42.4-yards per boot while Davidson was slightly better in 2017 at 44.0.
Where could Davidson end up in this year's NFL Draft, especially if he impresses at the NFL Combine? How about ready-to-win-now teams like the Patriots and Vikings who finished the year 28th and dead last respectively in punting average.

Johnny Townsend – Florida
Townsend averaged an astounding 46.2-yards-per kick over four years with the Gators. To put things into perspective, and to keep with our Ray Guy theme, the Hall of Famer averaged 44.7-yards-per kick at Southern Miss.
To this day, Oakland is commended for having the guts to take Guy in the first round with the 23rd overall selection in the 1973 NFL Draft. Could Townsend follow in his footsteps?
