Such is the situation South Dakota State tight end Dallas Goedert finds himself in after back-to-back sensational seasons with the Jackrabbits.
Let's take a closer look at what makes him so special, as well as another under-the-radar TE a few states over from the Dakotas.
Goedert was nearly unstoppable his junior and senior seasons at SDSU. After an incredible 92 catches for 1,293 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2016, he followed that up with 72 snags for 1,111 yards and 7 more TDs despite more attention from opposing defenses.
He was impressive during this year's Senior Bowl before injuring his hamstring, but some reports have teams like the New Orleans Saints interested in the 6-4, 260-pound pass catcher that some have compared to Zach Ertz and Todd Heap.
He can also make one-handed touchdown grabs like Odell Beckham.
Conklin hurt his left foot during training camp in August, but made the most of his 8 appearances this season for the Chippewas in pulling down 35 catches for 504 yards, 5 touchdowns, and a 14.4-yards-per-catch average.
And turns out, he's got some one-handed skills of his own in the end zone.
