It was another offseason of Nick Saban studs hearing their names called during the NFL Draft, but the squad's loss of talent hasn't stopped oddsmakers from giving Alabama the best SEC Championship odds of all 14 teams.

Aside from its typical suffocating defense, the Crimson Tide have every reason to believe that quarterback Tua Tagovailoa can keep the good times rolling in Tuscaloosa after going 14 of 24 for 166 yards and 3 touchdowns in the second half alone of 'Bama's 26-23 epic championship game win in overtime versus Georgia last January.
Speaking of the Bulldogs, returning QB Jake Fromm — he of the hilarious offseason fishing lure incident — looks to improve upon his 21 touchdown tosses a season ago (compared to just 5 interceptions). Georgia's rushing game was so dominant in 2017 that Fromm had 6 games in which he completed 9 or fewer passes, including just 4 in a 42-7 route of Florida right before Halloween.
On the other end of the conference championship spectrum are Vanderbilt and Kentucky — tied with the longest odds at +10000. The Commodores have an especially brutal conference slate including traveling to Georgia on October 6 and then having to play three straight SEC road games on the backend of its schedule.
