"There does need to be a wow factor," Texas head coach Tom Herman said in February, referencing locker room renovations. "Our key constituents are 17-year-old kids too . . . They're priority 1A. Priority 1B is our current players. We want them to have first class facilities to train in and to learn in and to grow in."

Bravo Coach, you've achieved a wow factor.
One week Herman and his players demolished their old locker room with a sledgehammer, the first-year coach dropped a bombshell on Twitter on Friday afternoon. He tweeted a video of their new lockers.
The lockers, which Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman says cost $10,500 — EACH — have a 43-inch TV (that appears to be on loop of the player's highlights), glowing locker doors and a sleek silver design that features a glowing Longhorn logo on the bottom.
The college football arms race is alive and well, if you couldn't tell.
