7. Stanford Universty
Quinnipiac. Cornell. Yale. Harvard. Brown. Princeton… these are some of college hockey's best programs. So why not add an academic elite from the West Coast to the mix? Stanford University has suprisingly successful athletics and would benefit from another revenue generating sport like men's hockey. Having a team at Stanford would also give California a trifecta of teams much like they have in the NHL where the Southern California clubs can battle the Northern California program for state superiority.
