Trevor Knight will end his career in style.
After an up-and-down season, the Texas A&M senior quarterback will cap his college football career against Kansas State in the Texas Bowl on Dec. 28. Knight led the Aggies to a 6-0 start, including 4-0 in the SEC, before dropping four of the final six — one win and one loss of which he missed from injury.
Texas A&M already has their fifth straight season of eight or more wins but are aiming for their fourth nine-win season since 2010, which would be the most in a seven-year span since 1990-94. And their quest for nine wins will include some glitzy adidas cleats for Trevor Knight.
