College Football Countdown Trivia: Which 2 Mainland FBS Schools Are the Farthest Apart From Each Other?

Which two mainland FBS schools are the farthest apart from each other?

Several schools are separated by at least 3,000 miles (shortest driving distance using official university address on Google Maps) but only a few are separated by at least 3,300 miles.

Answer

Washington and Miami (FL): 3,335 Miles

The University of Washington is separated from two of the three Miami-area schools (Miami, FIU, FAU) by at least 3,300 miles. It's 3,279 miles to FAU, 3,331 miles to FIU and 3,335 miles to Miami. ​
