As flawed as the BCS system was, it was a massive improvement from its predecessor.
Question: Was there actually a predecessor? The AP's national champion was widely viewed as the true national champion but non-AP champions claimed a title and there was no AP National Championship.
I digress. The BCS sucked but it sucked less than the non-system system we had before. And while it sucked, the 16-year run produced some of the best players and games in college football history.
Which player is responsible for the most touchdowns during the BCS era (1998-2013)?
Key word: Responsible (i.e. passing touchdowns count).
