At this point in the season, it's easy to get caught up in the hype of superstar players having big-time seasons. As fans, we always heap the most praise on players scoring the most touchdowns, getting the most sacks, and doing all of the flashy things on the field.
Those guys are integral to a football team, no doubt. But there's plenty of players doing work behind the scenes who are just as vital to a team's makeup. HERO Sports talked to Big Sky football coaches about their unsung heroes.[divider]

Cal Poly's head coach Tim Walsh is proud of all three of the guys who touch the ball in his triple option offense, but when we asked him which player was the Mustangs' unsung hero, he picked Kori Garcia. Dano Graves and Joe Protheroe have had huge years, but Walsh wants to point out just how good Garcia is.
"Kori Garcia is one of the best football players I've ever coached. He's not the fastest guy, he's not the biggest guy, but he's just a good player. He blocks and he runs the ball. I'd say week in and week out the offensive line and Kori Garcia are the strengths of who we are."
Garcia has 673 rushing yards and four touchdowns this season.
