Championship Weekend in college football kicks of on Friday night with the MAC Championship game serving as the appetizer for the entree level Pac-12 Championship bout that sees No. 4 Washington and No. 8 Colorado face off at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
It seems strange in some ways that this title matchup doesn't feature the likes of USC or Oregon in 2016, but both the Huskies and the Buffaloes will know that a win here will give them both a conference title and a real shot at being one of the four schools selected to take part in the College Football Playoff to decide the 2016 National Champion.

This will be an interesting matchup between two schools that have not played each other all that often down the years. One factor to keep in mind when watching this game is that the Huskies have a big advantage in that they will have had an extra day of rest compared to the Buffaloes.
Washington last played Friday against Washington State, while Colorado had to wait until Saturday to play (and win) their final regular season contest against Utah. Also factoring into this is that the Utes are seen as a brutal team on both lines of scrimmage, while the Cougars run a much more finesse based system.
This preview sees us once again turn to analyst Yogi Roth for his insider knowledge of the conference. There are so many late night Pac-12 games during the season, especially on Friday nights, that half of America has probably not seen either Colorado or Washington play more than a couple of times this year. Roth takes us through some of the matchups that will matter in this contest, including an interesting look at the top receivers from each team and how they both succeed despite very different styles of play.
Turn up your Washington and Colorado knowledge and be the guy everyone is surprised by when pulling out information at the bar on Friday night.
