Washington State quarterback Luke Falk will return next season, at least that's what his head coach, Mike Leach, believes, per the Seattle Times.
Falk has passed for 10,624 yards in less than two and a half season as the Cougars starting QB, connecting for 88 touchdowns and throwing but 25 interceptions. Washington State is looking for win No. 9 in the Holiday Bowl Wednesday, December 27 versus Minnesota after going 9-4 a year ago.

[divider]Falk, if he declares for the draft — which is unofficial at this stage, as players have until January 20, 2017 to decide one way or the other — is expected to be a first or second round pick in April. Falk did make a mid-season statement suggesting his coach's latest comments hold strong merit.
CBS Sports lists Falk as the No. 5 QB in the class of 2018. Just two weeks ago, ESPN's Mel Kiper ranked Falk the No. 4 QB in this year's class.
