TCU was a confusing mess in 2016. The squad was projected by many to be the best in the Big 12 behind Oklahoma but fell away to a 6-7 finish as injuries and poor play took their toll down the stretch. At their best, the Horned Frogs scored 46 points against Oklahoma and 62 against Baylor. If they can keep their wide receivers healthy, if the defense reverts to form, and if starting quarterback Kenny Hill can prove to be more than a September Heisman guy, then TCU can be a surprise package this fall.
