Dwight Howard – Georgia Tech
Howard, an Atlanta native, never committed to Georgia Tech and was also pursued by Georgia and North Carolina before entering the 2004 NBA Draft becoming the first overall pick. Heavy rumors claimed he was headed to Chapel Hill while others said he would remain in Atlanta. This is merely an educated guess.
