Kevin Garnett never committed to a school before being selected No. 5 overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 1995 draft. Minimal rumors surrounded his interest in Michigan at the time but it wasn’t until years later that those with knowledge of his recruitment revealed he was leaning heavily toward the Wolverines if he, unexpectedly, changed his mind on the NBA.
